Cllr Alistair Grant

Hello residents of Keyworth and others. My name is Alistair Iain Grant and I am a councillor for Keyworth parish council. At 22 years old I am certainly the youngest member of the parish council, and possibly the youngest councillor to ever be elected. I intend to use my youthful exuberance to good effect in the council, in order to make changes that will benefit our community and the residents of Keyworth. I am very proud to be working with the council team and sincerely hope that my contribution will help make decisive decisions on issues that matter to you.

I am currently studying my final year of politics at Nottingham Trent University. I also work part-time as a lifeguard at Portland leisure Centre in Nottingham. My interests are wide and varied and include: Cycling, food/eating and cooking, scuba diving, history, politics, music/the Beatles to Beethoven.
