Cllr Tony Kemmer

I joined the parish council only two years ago but have been a Keyworth resident for 30 years. During that time my wife and I have built up a large circle of friends as have our children who are now grown up and off our hands. We have lived on Main Street since 1987.

Most of my working life was spent at Boots head office from where I retired in June 2004. During that time I spent some 20 years in IT and following that held a number of senior positions all concerned with managing organisational change. Since then I've split my time between a university degree and voluntary activity including working for the Council to Protect Rural England.

As a keen walker my particular interests in the parish council are environmental. I would like to help ensure that Keyworth residents have access to the amenities they need and that Keyworth remains a pleasant and safe place to live.
