Crossdale Drive School provides a high quality education within a stimulating and welcoming atmosphere. Since opening in 1974, we have steadily developed the unique 'Crossdale family' environment in which staff, parents/carers, governors and other members of the community all work happily together to ensure that all children enjoy and benefit from their time here.

We focus our resources on providing excellent teaching and on maximising the number of adults in the classroom so that each child can be given individual attention and encouragement. The Crossdale education is broad and balanced, following the National Curriculum and offering plenty more besides! (drama productions, foreign languages, music, sport, environmental studies and an enormous variety of extra curricular clubs). A Crossdale child will be encouraged to develop a positive attitude, to show consideration and tolerance to others, to value themselves and to feel confident in forming and expressing their own opinions.

Facilities at our school are also excellent, with a well-designed and maintained school building, modern technology including computers and interactive white-boards in each area. We have an extensive grassed area with sports pitches, several playgrounds, an environmental study area, a discovery area and an adventure trail. A recent addition to the services on offer at Crossdale has been 'Crossdale Busy Bees'. We are now able to provide education and child-care onsite for children aged 2 and upwards between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm.

We constantly strive to improve our school and to do all that we possibly can to prepare our children to lead fulfilling and successful lives. If you are interested in sending your child to Crossdale, or in becoming involved in any other way, then we'd love to hear from you.
