KEYWORTH AND DISTRICT GARDENING ASSOCIATION

The Association promotes the interests of all members in their gardening and horticultural activities and takes joint action on behalf of members. The main activities are meetings in the village hall with speakers giving talks on a variety of gardening related subjects. There are coach trips to gardens and shows within a comfortable day's journey. Members are offered discounted seeds and plug plants. The committee and members are key to the running of the annual horticultural show that takes place on the playing fields in early July each year. Annual membership is £5.00 per person and meetings are £2.00 for members, £3.00 for non-members. There are 9 meetings per year, normally on Mondays, 7.30pm-9.30pm in the Centenary Lounge, Elm Avenue.
