The Keyworth Playing Fields Association (KPFA) leases the playing fields at Nottingham Road (Rectory Field) from the Parish Council. In accordance with the terms of the lease, a management committee oversees the maintenance, management and control of the
KEYWORTH playing fields and associated buildings.
The KPFA management committee consists of up to six elected Trustees and ten representative Trustees nominated by the following clubs and organisations: Bowls, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, British Legion, Parish Council, Parochial Church Council, Scouts, Womens' Institute.
The maintenance and improvement of the playing fields and buildings is funded mostly by rents from user clubs, proceeds from the Keyworth Show and from a grant made by the Parish Council.
The KPFA Annual General Meeting is held on the second Wednesday of April at 7.30pm in the Bowls Club. All residents of Keyworth are welcome to attend.
