KEYWORTH SHOKOTAN KARATE CLUB

The club was established in Keyworth in 1985. The senior instructor is a black belt 5th Dan with 30+ years experience of karate as a student, instructor, competition referee and grading examiner. The club is supported by male and female black belt assistant instructors and affiliated to Sport England – a recognised English Karate Governing Body. Karate is an excellent way of keeping physically and mentally fit and the ultimate system of unarmed self-defence. It teaches self-discipline, leading to confidence and well being and can be practised by men and women, boys and girls, young and not so young.

Meetings are weekly:
Mondays 7.00pm–8.00pm (all grades including beginners)
Mondays 8.00pm– 9 p.m. (brown/black belts) at the BGS gym, Nicker Hill
