NOTTINGHAMSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST (NWT)
South Notts Members' Group (SNG)

NWT is a charity dedicated to promoting nature conservation in Nottinghamshire, running over 60 reserves (2500 acres) and working to promote wildlife conservation in both countryside and urban areas.

In Rushcliffe we have four reserves (Bunny Wood, Wilwell Cutting, Wilford Claypits and Skylarks) with volunteer reserve work parties undertaking practical conservation. The South Notts Members Group runs a local programme of talks, site and special interest visits (dawn chorus, wildflowers, pond dipping, etc). In addition we are also working to get other local areas managed sympathetically for wildlife. Wildlife WATCH runs a group for youngsters at Rushcliffe Country Park.
