Village Plan Launched at Keyworth Show

Trevor Dobson, chairman of the Village Plan team, hands a finished copy of the Village Plan to Tony Grice, chairman of Keyworth Parish Council at its launch at Keyworth Show. Trevor has steered a vast team of volunteers over the past two years, performing a survey of resident's views and then compiling and analysing the responses. Their work is now available for all to see in the document which was handed to dozens of people at the Show. Online copies are also available.

The Show was another tremendous event for our community. Stall holders must have feared the worst as they set out their stands under leaden skies. But, it stayed warm and people started streaming onto the playing field from all corners of the village. To everyone's delight the clouds parted in the afternoon and sunshine flooded the field adding to a real carnival atmosphere. Well done to all the organisers and exhibitors for making it such a successful event.
