Willow Brook School is one of the three primary schools in Keyworth. We opened in 1968 in response to the rapidly expanding population. The school enjoys a largely rural location, standing in its own grounds and has excellent facilities.

We have developed close links with South Wolds Community School and receive French and music teaching from their staff. We positively participate in the Rushcliffe School Sports Partnership and encourage all of our children to take part in sporting and leisure activities. As well as traditional school sports such as football, basketball, cricket and athletics, we now offer tennis, golf and indoor rowing after school.

We have a thriving “Wicked Willows” club providing quality child care both before and after the school day and a flourishing “Parent and Toddler” group which meets on Tuesday afternoons. The ‘Friends of Willow Brook’ organise many social and fund-raising activities and the funds raised by the ‘Friends’ have enabled us to buy those little ‘extras’ that improve our educational provision.

We have a new outdoor activity area for our younger children in school. Again ‘Friends’ have equipped this purpose built, all weather area with a wide range of play equipment.
